Sehr nettes Restaurant mit ausgezeichneter und preislich sehr fairer Küche. Wir hatten Tuna Belly und den Chorizo Mix mit Beilagen. Sehr lecker! Bei den Portionen kann man der Bedienung vertrauen. Die auch sehr nett und aufmerksam ist! Reservierung empfehlenswert. Achtung, Restaurant liegt in einer kleinen Seitenstraße und wird nicht genau bei Google angegeben. ~ Annette

Que restaurante increíble, la atención fantástica, siempre atentos y servicio muy ágil. Además ayudan en todo lo necesario para escoger. Comida abundante, con mucho sabor madeirense, un lugar que no se puede dejar de visitar para probar suculentos platos típicos. Los acompañamientos variados y cantidad perfecta. Sehr gutes und sauberes Restaurant welches wir mehrfach in unserem Urlaub besucht haben. Wie schon in einigen anderen Bewertungen geschrieben, macht es Sinn der zuvorkommende Belegschaft zu trauen. Selbst Gerichte wie Schweineohren sollte man mal versucht haben. Haben mit 4 Personen meist 4- 5 Gerichte bestellt und von allem gegessen. Vernünftiges Preis/ Leistungs Verhältnis. ~ Sven J

Wir aßen in diesem ausgezeichneten Restaurant zu Mittag, das in den Nebenstraßen von Funchal versteckt war. Freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Besitzer, sein Rat war von unschätzbarem Wert. Aufmerksame, professionelle und freundliche Kellnerin. Ausgezeichnete Küche, höchste Qualität und Preis gehen Hand in Hand. Auf jeden Fall eines der besten Restaurants in Funchal! L’année derrière on a visité cet restaurant par hasard, est on été vraiment trop con, le service et les plates - haute niveau ! Cette année on a passe 2 jours en recherche car je ne suis pas garde le nom de resto et pouvait pas le trouver sur google map, mais on l’ai trouvé aujourd’hui et on est ravi, on recommande à visiter pour tous, les familles, les couples ou entre les amis ! ~ Inna G

Bellissima esperienza Cibo ottimo e pesce di qualità Abbiamo preso polpo TM e Tuna belly, accompagnandolo con milho frito, tutti veramente squisiti. Rapporto qualità prezzo giusto, pagato circa 50 euro in due Fritture leggere Servizio cordiale e disponibile. Excelente casa de petiscos. Dividimos um Petisco à TM e um Polvo à Lagareiro e não resistimos a pedir um milho frito para complementar o nosso pedido porque milho frito é divinal e duas Brisas de maracujá para beber porque no continente não temos direito a beber esta bebida. Terminamos com o bolo de requeijão que foi só o melhor que comi na vida! Staff super simpático. ~ Rita G

We found this place on google maps and it was fantastic. We were seated and offered appetizer (garlic bread and olives). For the main dish we had Picadoà TM (Chopped beef) with Salad mix. And my partner had Tomato soup. Chopped beef came with french fries, corn and mushroom sauce. It was large, tasty and well worth the price. I’m a big guy, and even I thought the portion was big enough to share with my partner. For the drinks the house wine arrived perfectly cold and incredibly refreshing. The restaurant was full of people, with lively chatter and a warm atmosphere. Even though the restaurant was packed, the service remained fast and efficient. We paid around €55 for two people and were very satisfied with both the price and the service. We would recommend it. ~ Valts R

Я пришла из-за отзывов и не пожалела. Мне очень понравилась обстановка, отношение официантов, помощь в выборе блюда и, конечно, сама еда. Я заказала тунца, он был восхитительный! Wie findet man auf Madeira ein gutes Restaurant? Wir haben uns auf Google verlassen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Schon bei der netten Begrüßung fällt auf, dass viele Tische reserviert waren. Wir hatten aber das Glück und konnten noch einen ergattern. Die Bedienung war super freundlich und das Essen war von vorne bis hinten perfekt , ganz klar fünf Sterne ~ Mike O

Fui a este restaurante por recomendação e não desiludiu. Comida típica da Madeira, bem confeccionada. Funcionários simpáticos. Devem experimentar as lapas grelhadas e as migas de batata doce, O espada à camarão também estava divinal e o picado com milho frito. Tudo maravilhoso. A relação preço/qualidade é excelente. Ottimo posto a Funchal , servizio impeccabile ,appena arrivati ci hanno offerto del pane tipico con aglio e burro super abbondante più olive , poi abbiamo preso il piatto di carne morbidissimo super big più il polpo davvero delizioso morbido saporitissimo posto super consigliato buon prezzo ottimo cibo , vi suggerisco la sangria ! Sehr netter Service, tolles Ambiente und sehr gute Beratung. Essen war köstlich - und wir hätten dem Chef einfach noch mehr vertrauen sollen … Bacalhau ist nicht unser Gericht 🤪. Wir hatten dazu noch Thunfisch, der köstlich war, Beilagen waren lecker, der Hauswein, der uns empfohlen wurde, war leicht und süffig. Absolute Empfehlung!! ~ Cornelia G

Prezioso. Piccolo ristorantino nel centro di Funchal, che offre piatti della tradizione principalmente a base di pesce e carne con rivisitazioni. Abbiamo provato il polpo della casa e senza ombra di dubbio è uno dei polpi più buoni mai mangiati nella mia vita. Tutto quello che abbiamo ordinato era ottimo e in tempi super accettabili. Dieses Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die Bedienungen sind sehr nett und das Essen war das Beste was wir in Funchal gefunden haben. Man bestellt meistens kleinere Portionen von verschiedenen Speisen und kann sich gut durch die portugiesische Küche durchprobieren. Man sollte allerdings vor 19 Uhr hingehen oder reservieren, da es meistens sehr voll ist. ~ Robin S

Such a little gem close to old Town in Funchal, where most of the restaurants cater for the tourists. Come here though, and you'll generally found that this place is more for the locals. It's a casual, fairly small spot tucked away from the main street, and the menu is comprehensive and down to earth. Generally speaking, I would suggest anything from the fish/seafood section is worth trying - the tuna belly and the tempura scabbard have been standouts for us. The food is fresh and flavours are simple - it's just good, down to earth food. The pigs ears in vinegar are another shout. Bardzo polecam tą restaurację. Wizytę tu zapamiętam na długo. Obsługa przemiła, ośmiornica doskonała. Jedna z lepszych jakie miałam okazję próbować. Miła atmosfera i dobre wino. Na pewno jeszcze wrócimy. Jedyne zastrzeżenie to przystawka (chleb i oliwki), która jest podawana jak twierdzi obsługa bezpłatnie, natomiast jest doliczana do rachunku. ~ Katarzyna W

Petite taverne un peu excentrée dans une rue perpendiculaire à la très (trop) touristique rue Santa Maria et ses restaurants uniformes. Pas de grande surprise dans l’assiette, on vient ici pour découvrir la cuisine de l’Ile mais une préparation de grande qualité qui ravira vos papilles. L’adresse est connue des locaux. We tried some of the "portions", the black pudding, the gizzards and the pig ears, with some salad and some Migas of sweet potato. All of the courses were excellent. We originally wanted to order more, as they have multiple very interesting options, but the waiter kindly warned us that this would be enough for two people - and he was completely right. They also have a decent seafood selection, but this time we wanted to go for something different. There is a nice selection of wines as well, also at a good price. Staff was very friendly as well. It is a little bit off the beaten path, and these few meters already mean that it is more comfy and relaxed than the restaurants closer to the seaside. I can happily recommend this place. ~ András S

Uma maravilhosa surpresa no centro do Funchal, comida de excelente qualidade e um serviço ainda melhor com uma atenção ao detalhe! Toda a comida estava excelente, mas destaco a ventresca e as amêijoas nas entradas! O bife de atum estava divinal, um dos melhores… o melhor que comi! I’ve been in Funchal for three days now and haven’t found a single restaurant that truly stood out – most places sit between 4.2 and 4.6 on Google and feel overrated. This restaurant, however, was recommended to me with a 4.5 rating – and honestly, compared to the others, that score doesn’t do it justice. The food was outstanding, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere felt modern and welcoming. What truly impressed me was that they even advised us to order less, because the tapas portions were more than enough. That kind of honesty and genuine care for guests is rare – it really speaks to my hospitality heart. For me, this place is an absolute hidden gem in Funchal. Highly recommended. ~ Georgios T

Nous y sommes allés deux fois sur le séjour. C'est tout dire. La réservation est indispensable, car malgré le fait qu'il soit un peu à l'écart de l'artère touristique, ça ne désemplit pas. On a tout adoré, le peuple, le calamar, le ventrecha de thon, les températures d'espadon. Nous n'avons pas pris de plats de viande qui ne nous semblaient pas appétissants. ~ Math “

On ne devrait pas le dire.. mais c est vraiment une superbe adresse! Au point que si on n a pas réservé....on risque d être très déçu ! Délicieux ( ventre de thon, salade et patate douce Et pour finir un cheese cake fruits de la passion .. ... ) et très sympathique ! C est décidé on y retourne demain ! Mince déjà complet !
